Wow, Matt, Laura, Heather and Phildo all post! I guess i'll get back in the game baby
2008 was solid - ups, downs, and great experiences. Raps games, my first NFL game, first plane ride, Chris Rock and pretty much no school courtesy of this fucking strike. Booze, weed, bitches and of all things, spliknot haha. Asides from not getting a real chance to play music on stage, it was about an 8/10
Here's to another lovley year, with much more of the same shit as the last ones.

This morning at 6 a.m a kid who I went to elementary school with for 6 years died in a car crash on his way to burger king. Another friend was in the backseat but because he was sleeping laying down and not wearing hsi seat belt, he escaped with 6 stitches, 2 hairline fractures in his thumbs and brusies.
The last time I saw him was 3 days ago at KFC, its amazing that someone you see in passing and know can just be taken away in a second.
I spent the night with everyone who knew him well, far better then me, and i've never seen a group come together like that. Sure everyone was hurt, confused, and in a state of disbelief but they were there for each other. Even though I hardly knew him i felt like i had spent an eternity partying with him from all teh stories. I cant stand seeing my friends cry.
Life is short, and if you dont slow down to enjoy it, you may miss it. No child should ever have to be buried before their parents and I believe God truly took somone away far to early. While we all mourn, we will celebrate his life as well, and drink twice as hard for him; vodka and orange juice. The good times will be forever rememberd and we will keep you alive with those stories.
R.I.P Adam Callan, you will be forever missed and remembered. I wish I was able to get to know you better first hand.
Joncas- get well soon, we could use your stories in trying times like these.

So yea.... battle of the bands was last night... I'll leave it at that :-s
Tuesday we play with Social code and we'll deffinitley make up for that shit-show!
I have an interview for work today. Its for KFC but whatever. Some money is better then no money. And I dont have to cook like my brothers, just stand in the front and take money :-)
Camping tommorow! That should be solid! And Phil is here so that is fantastic also!!!

The show was amazing, thank you to everyone who came out!
It felt good to be back on stage, I miss that feeling.
It also felt good to see some faces I haven't seen in ages. Seeing all those former stm'ers again was amazing and hoepfully I see them a bunch this summer!

10 months with the woman tommorw :-)
This week I have an out of class exam, an in class one and a paper to hand in. I've finished my out of class but I can't get motivated to write this fucking paper. Considering I have about 4 days left, I better get on it. I want to have time to study for my exam but that isn't looking good. Oh well, I can bullshit my way through most of it I hope.
4 days till the show! I'm pretty excited for it. I'm hoping all goes well. The turnout should be stellar. It's Holiday's last show untill the summer, cftb's first show with their new guitarist and last show before their cd release and guilty hasnt played here in about 3 weeks. I'm excited to see all those guys again. I love hanging out with both CFTB and Guilty. I probably wont get to much since as promoter I get to run all over the place but we shall see. Either way it will be loads of fun for one and all and hopefully no drama and a solid afterparty.
Matt, Skylar and SyPHILis, are you guys comming up?

So Melissa got accepted to york! I'm really happy for this because it has made the struggles this past year even more worth it. This summer will be solid and September-April will be even better!
ATTN Mikey, Kat, Kate and all Canadians that wanna run around this summer: I'm looking to start up an Ultimate Frisbee team this year. According to Elisa, her and Gio would be down as well as Corey. Let me know what you guys think!
Last night was the best band practice ever. The music sounded so tight and I can't wait for the 14th! Less then two weeks nigga!

St. Patty's day as well as the rest of the weekend was stellar. Besides being shisha-less, I'd say it was near perfect. On Saturday i took like 15 Jager bombs, some of them being doubles. That got me sloppy but fun nontheless. Drew and I blasted the Irish music and watched the MSU game (better luck next year). I'm glad we're better brothers then we probably were at this point a year ago.
Running a show this weekend with Battlecat, Dear Black Diary and Better Lies Beneath then partying it up after.
2 weeks left of school. Then an exam on he 14th and im done :-) I can't believe the first year is already over but hell, 3 more and I'll be done for good.. minus if I go into Law or drop out early for other interests.
The next few weeks will be stressful, I'm just begging for the 14th to come. I hope this show goes well. I'm expecting it to sell out with such a killer lineup.
Guilty has been added and they have a new song up. I seriously love these guys so go listen to them

Reading week was a great success. Snowboarding with the bros and pop, lots of time with my 9HOE5 crew, hookah, wii, valentines day with Melissa/ a full day with her on friday. I'm content with life and I am fine with the fact i didn't get any work done for my research papers.
This sunday i can finally by liquor in Canada. Friday will be a night of debauchery. To those who dont have facebook, this is your invite. Matt Rees, Jess, Mikey and any michiganders who wanna make the trip essentialy.
Back to learning about the affects hip hop culture has on women. It's gonna be a long three weeks.

Today i was able to get the new anberlin cd, the new reason cd and 5 new bno tracks (well 3 re-releases) and I must say all of them are fucking amazing... new bno is better then ever - even trainwreck (which in my opinion was their best cd)
18 Days till i can buy my own booze... hope yall booked the 24th off work.
